CONCRETE PAVING

Our Capabilities

PAVING ROADS SINCE 2009

Since 2009, Toebe has become one of the largest mainline concrete pavers, by volume, in the State of Michigan, having already completed several high-profile projects throughout the state – most notably Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW) Runway 4R/22L, 7.8 miles of I-75 in Bay County,  I-96 / US-23 Interchange in Livingston County, and teamed with our excavation division to reconstruct 88 lane miles of I-275, crossing Oakland and Wayne County.

Our paving expertise includes interstate freeways, state highways, county and city roads, pavement patching, thin concrete overlays, airport runways and aprons, cement treated bases, and military base runway paving. We've paved more than 6.1 Million square yards. If you laid out all the roads we've paved end to end, you would have a one lane road that would travel from the northernmost tip of Michigan to the southernmost point and still have enough left over to pave a second road east to west across the state! In addition, we've produced more than 1.8 million cubic yards of concrete — that’s roughly half the Hoover Dam!

At Toebe, we literally "pave" the way in technology. In 2013 on a project on I-75 in Bay County, Toebe was the first contractor to utilize stringless paving technology on an MDOT project.  From that point on we never looked back.  Today, we have a full fleet of Gomaco paving equipment that utilizes Leica Geosystems 3-D guidance for all of our stringless paving needs.
